Heffron Company was contracted to design assist new mechanical systems and plumbing as part of a new 3-story building that encompasses 60,000 square feet of academic space and is comprised of 12 computer based laboratories, 4 biology laboratories, a combined biotechnology and engineering laboratory, and 14 lecture rooms.
The project consisted of sustainable design elements throughout to include a variable-air-volume HVAC system, sloped roof, low flow plumbing fixtures, reflective roof system, high performance glazing daylight harvesting, rain gardens. Parish Hall is NOVA’s first LEED Silver Facility.
